anyone have any personal experience with the 98-01 jdmshit polyurethane lips? how's the fitment?

From what I've been told from my friends, the lips fit pretty good. I haven't heard really anything bad about the lips...

 

yeah i been wanting to get one from jdm **** for a long time. anybody else dealt with them?

 

only thing i remember reading about is that someone got a "98-01 type r" lip and it was way off..other than that i've never heard anything bad about them

Ive heard nothing but good things regarding fitment of there other products like the si-vtec lips, i wouldnt expect anything otherwise from the rest of there stuff

 

I had a sir lip and it was pretty good although i hit a rock at 70 in the freeway and split it in half.

 

I hear they are good quality. I actually might be buying one.

Me too, but mine was authentic abs which im thinkin yours was too. Polyurethane shouldnt have cracked, which the jdmshit stuff is.

 

i figure you get what you pay for in this case.....jdmshit has some of the best prices for polyurethane lips, so you can't complain. Of course not all of the lips will have perfect fitment, but I know the majority of the lips have been. Check out boy's car (milano2kdc2) with the jdmshit 98+ itr lip:

 

I have the 94-97 jdmshit lip and it fits perfect. just like OEM. I even scraped it a few times and its fine. its polyurethane, so it flexes a good bit before it will crack.

 

Only thing that sucks about having the 98+ itr lip is the paint can scrap off... you can hit the si vtec lip all day and it doesnt hardly leave any marks. Polyurethane is good stuff

 

Why would paint scrape off the 98+ itr lips, but not off the si vtec lip?

 

Most dont paint the si vtec front lips... they leave them with the black abs look like the factory ones are.

 

i have bought 3 mugen front lips from them and they have all fit perfect and shiped in great packaging !!

 

thanks for the input everyone..i was planning on buying the comptech one but they ran out and with them closing, they weren't getting anymore..but i guess jdmshit is good too..

Is that the ABS or Polyurethane one ? A lot of shops that are selling 98-01 " USDM ITR Style " lips, the ends are way off. I went to a local shop that had a bunch of lips and I looked at their Polyurethane one and it does NOT come close to the oem usdm itr one.
