You can turbo just about any car. Just be sure you don't boost too much, the DX rods are tiny, and won't take too much stress.

Words of advice...my friend put a Jackson Racing SuperCharger on his 1.5 DX and he boosted the hell out of it something like 13 PSI and he shoots out the biggest cloud og black smoke....keep the boost small until u upgrade the engine

Have you ever seen DX rods? They're like friggin' toothpicks. If you're looking for longevity out of you engine I would say never do it. Plus you could get so much more out of even a d16z turbo then the measley d15.

Not worth the time or the $$$
True..and not true...A decent B16 swap can be done good with $1600..Brand new GReddy Turbos are $1300 avg price in so cal for a SOHC...now if you spend that $1300 on other stuff, you can't make as much power as you would with the kit...It's well worth it...and the stock D15 can handle about 8lbs without problems....Making your custom kit using a T25 turbo is a good choice, but it'll require lots of knowledge and time. T25's are really small...so you'll be getting full boost at around 2.5k rpms...GReddy uses a turbo similar to TD04 and is little bigger than a T25...IMO, I think it'll be better going with a GReddy kit than a custom. GReddy is more reliable and you'll be getting all new parts except for the IC and the BOV..Keep in mind that the GReddy's for SOHC's do no come with injectors, however, if you're not planning to boost big numbers, you wont need larger injectors...your stock ones will be able to handle it...Good Luck.

i've been advised not even to run a bolt on boost pressure...6 or 7 lbs. it was memtioned before, "the rods won't hold up." if you want a singel cam w/ boost, find a d16z6 long bolck ($400-$700), and boost it.
