this happened a few years back..Got pulled over by a cop after a night at the street races 3 blocks from my house( I ran a stop sign). Cop told me to pop my hood I did just that but little did he know that theres a technique to opening my CRX's hood than pulling the hatch. I had to put my fingers in the corner of the hood and pull up , it wasnt alligned right when i bought it. So i play it dumb while cop sits there trying to figure out whys it not poping up. I played dumb and acted confused as why it didnt open. I hate some bolt ons under the hood Cop shrugs his shoulder and gives me a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign. Grrrrr.... anyways just thought a share a story and maybe give you an idea...

 

So you're telling us to misalign our hoods to try to make them hard to open?

you had a nice cop. i use to think that "not able to open the hood" would stop a cop but a friend of mine tried to play dumb too and the cop was going to have the car towed to a junk yard and have them break the hood open.

you can only use that excuse with some cops, other cops know wassup.
