Default Tein S. Tech or H. Tech or something else...

Sup guys. I really want to lower my 96 Accord Coupe. Not too low or same as OEM. I want it good. I'm thinking of S. Tech and H. Tech.

Which one should I pick?
What shocks should I get along with it?
Do you reccomend any other springs? (i looked at the guide to Accord) I want something that is little stiffer than OEM but doesn't provide a harsh ride.

What do you guys think of S. Tech?

tein h tech, eibach pro kit, or h&r sport if you plan on sticking with stock shocks.

if you want to go lower than 1.5" or so you NEED new shocks or your ride will suck
and the shocks will blow prematurely.

if you go lower:

tein s tech, eibach sportline, h&r race, nuespeed sport or race.

nuespeed sport's might be ok on the oem shocks.

for cheap shocks the kyb gr2's are known to be very similar to OEM. the tokico
blues are good for a cheap shock on a moderate drop. illumina's will give you
adjustable damping for a little more.

was going to go for the s tech, tockico blue combo, but i got a good deal on some
eibach sportlines, so i got those. i should be ordering the blue's soon. i'd like to
get the illumina's if i can get a good deal.

i don't think it's really worth spending more than ~$300-400 for a spring/shock
combo with no or limited adjustability.

any more than that and you might as well get a set of coil overs for a couple hundred more.

I have S-Tech it drops you a decent amount. I have tire tuck in the back (stereo) and 2 fingers in the front. With a passenger and driver, its down to like a finger. We are both about 180 lbs, me and my best friend. Now with me and the girlfriend it doesnt move too much because shes light.

Depends on how much money your willing to spend, I have s-tech and gr-2's not too bad of a setup. I wish I wouldve got better shocks though.

I would recommend H-Tech, for not much of a drop. And tokico blues for a decent setup.

Never heard of tokico springs. I see the package on ebay but never seen anyone with that drop. When you are bouncing alot thats when your shocks are bad. Or you hear a bad noise.
