ok this hasnt happened before but now whenever its raining or after it rains my car doesnt want to start. its like the battery has absolutely no power and it just dies as im turning the key. usualy there isnt anyone around to jump me so ive been popping the clutch to start it. im soo boggled by this its rediculous. i dont know how rain could affect me starting the car in anyway but after its warmed and stuff it starts no problem. i know it couldent be a fuel issue because the tank, pump, filter and all the lines were replaced last week. if anyone could help id be soo happy. thanks!

 

Did you try getting a new battery? Moisture, heat/cold can greatly affect the way your battery performs. Water is a conductor of electricity, so my only guess is you lose your battery power when it's raining or humid..

no, i havent tried a new battery yet im broke untill wednesday. but that sounds like it could be the problem. ive also been led to beleive it could be my starter because it doesnt want to start sometimes (when the battery is fully charged and not raining) and one time it started up, ran for about 1 second then shut off, i then started it again and it stayed on but ran VERY rough for about 2 minutes.
