Do you if that rev limit is controlled by spark or by fuel cutoff? If spark controlled, would using an MSD external coil and ignition box essentially remove this limit? I am curious because I have a 90 LS with a stock PR4 computer and an MSD SCI-L ignition box and external coil. With the MSD rev limit set to 6800 I can bounce off the MSD limit all day.
