I was watching the Option video of the first D1 event in the US, and it cracks me up how much smack the Japanese commentators talk, i was rolling on the floor busting a gut, I mean I know they're like the top drivers in Japan, but is was just funny as hell.
The Japanese pro drivers would come out, and they're like wow, now that's some speed, how is that guy drifting so early off the line, etc.
The the american competitors come out, and they're like why are all these cars so slow?
But they did talk smack about some of the Japanese drivers too, one guy they were saying that he drives way better here than he does in japan, he never does that well in Japan competitions and he needed to take those skills home.

the guy in the grey corolla was awesome. he had flawless runs every time.
Some of the other guy with more power were definetly able to produce more smoke and continue the high speed drift longer, but none were as consistant as the corolla.
