Default accord piston problems

i am rebuilding my accord and i have new JE forged pistons (which the warrenty is now up on) made for my car but for some reason they are such a tight fit it took a hammer just to get it started what can i do to make them fit i called machine shops about boreing it but they said you cant just bore it out a little bit it only to certain specs so any ideas about how to help me would be greatly appreciated

What make & year is your accord/engine? Do you know the diameter of the pistons that you bought, are they 85mm or 85.5mm+. That .5 can make a big difference in the fitting of your pistons.

FYI all of the F series engines are an 85mm bore with the exception of the F23A1-6 and A5 Euro. and an engine rebuilder should be able to bore/hone your cylinders to match a .5mm over piston very easily. If you talk to them and they say that they can't do it...call the next one down the list in the phone book
