Anyone know of any substance we can use to get superglue off the dash of the integras? I've checked some hardware stores and their adhesive remover doesn't work too well. Please let me know where I can order some or direct me to the appropriate places. Thanks!!

 

Super glue is cyano-acrylate that bonds to many things especially plastic. You need plastic monomer fluid to have a chance at removing it - but monomer will also melt plastic (i.e. the dash). Is there any way you can gently scratch it off (it should be pretty hard)??

 

Acetone (aka nail polish remover). Test it on an inconspicuous part of the dash first to make sure it doesnt haze it too much.

 

nail polish remover will bubble the dash.

 

I tried scratching it off with them sharp mini blades, but then I began to scratch off the dash a little too. There's got to be a way to get that crap off. I tried a few things, exept nail polish remover, so I'll give it a shot. In the meantime, give me more ideas.

 

1. Buy a new dash
2. Buy a new car
3. Leave the glue

 

Put a dash mat on, and cover it!

 

Sure...if it was right on top of the dash, I can cover it, but what if it's around the stereo and shifter? It's not that easy dude!!! I tried a few other crap..still not working...

 

The real question is - why did you super glue it? That **** is permanent, you know...
