I figured out how to do a J-turn in my old CRX, but with the S2000 having anti-lock brakes...I really have no idea. Is it possible? What are the steps to doing this?

why is it you need to know such a "MOVE"?
here it is text book style......
A J-Turn is a driving manoeuvre which is basically a 'backwards' U-Turn. It is defined as turning a car through 180 degrees from reversing in a straight line to driving forwards in a straight line.
To perform a J-Turn, a driver would need to execute the following steps:
Reverse at a speed of around 15 - 30mph
Steer hard to the right
Stop accelerating and turn the wheel to the left simultaneously
Before the car turns a full 180 degrees, put car into 1st gear and accelerate hard
cruise around 80mph put it in gear w/o pressing the clutch ... promise it will stop somehow... yes, stop! stop working your trans

You know...where you drive in reverse and get the car to quickly rotate 180 degrees so that you end up driving forward.
In CRX I did it by driving in reverse, turning the steering wheel, and hitting the brakes. The front wheels would lock up and swing around. Ideally while they're swinging around you manage to throw it in gear and drive off. I never tried it in S2000, but I know the wheels won't lock and so I'm trying to get some advice as to how to get them to swing around.

ok. My friend used to do them all the time in his beater, but he did them the wrong way. he would be in reverse at about 30mph, cut the wheel and then slam it in drive. I think he called them 007's.

It was actually a cool maneuver to know. Sometimes when you need to turn around and you have an open road, it's almost asking for it. Much more effective than going back and forth in the relatively awkward K-turn, and much more satisfying.
Of course, it's probably best if there's no one you don't know around because they'll just think you're some jackass trying to show off...much like most people in this thread assume is the case. And if there's chick in the car you probably also want to warn her to hold on, otherwise you'll just scare the crap out of her. And chicks don't like that.

Huh?
Huh?
cant you technically keep the car still, cut the wheel, put it in reverse and then gas the **** out of it? Ive see f1 drives do that when they spin out and need to face the right way again.
