Default Rear wiper issues

My rear wipers needs constant adjustment in different weathers... it's driving me nuts!!!
The bottom half of the wipe cycle (near the base) is normal, but once it gets to the top of the wipe cycle it doesn't wipe any top part of the hatch window.
I've changed the wiper already, and it doens't change a thing.
I can bend and arch the wiper arm even more to it puts more pressure against the hatch window, but it looks bad and really weird because it is looped up.

Can anyone help me out here?

Much appreciated!!

Sounds like you need to replace the actual wiper arm and assembly if thats what your getting at.

Don't use the rear wiper? Mine is starting to do this too, doesn't bother me all that much though...wipes enough for me to see out of.

I would say it's probably your spring that holds the arm against the glass. If that had gotten weakened even bending the arm wouldn't matter because the spring is what's putting force down not the arm.

same thing happened to me with my old car, the spring holding the wiper to the window is losing its tension due to age, the only thing you can really do is either change the whole wiper assembly or try to find another spring that would hold that tension
