What wheels are these?
Picking up my new GTR this week and I can't figure out what kind of wheels are on it. At first the shop guys thought they were some works, but I'm thinking more along the lines of SSR Professors?

I'll try and get better pics + some markings off them later this week when I pickup the car.

GTR!?!?
Definitely of the Skyline variety. Look at the fenders and the GT badge, duh.

Todd: What kind of works? One of the lips is pretty banged up, not sure if it can be fixed. Maybe trying to find a replacement. I think they're 17x8 wheels.

I really hope they're rotas. Then I'd actually be able to replace them and not break the damn bank, and I'll probably end up bending one of them on our shitty potholes by the end of the summer anyways.
The lugnuts are really far sunken in like in kefka's picture though, and the lip looks the same. I'd just be suprised if they're actually Rotas though, considering this is a 2-owner car and I got it right off of the container after it was purchased in Japan. It's not a cheap POS car either, it's been very well maintained and has a few higher dollar aftermarket stuff on it. Not a spot of rust either, so it makes me wonder.

they could be work meister s1
or they could be ssr professor sp1r...
if that is an actual picture of the wheels I would assume that they are SSR's...being because of the finish...that Black Chrome(ish) finish is one that i have never seen on Work Wheels... but I have seen on the SSR Comp. Therefore this would lead me to believe that the wheel is of SSR fame...This is just my opinion. Let us know

Less than a 1999/2000 Civic SI (called an SIR here) sells for
About 16 grand after all is said and done. That includes 2 new steel wheel T28's, the car, shipping, registration, OOP inspection, a custom plate (GODZIRA), full tank of gas, oil change, and 4-corner allignment to setup the coilovers properly

I doubt they're Rotas. The finish looks pretty high quality from those pics, and I dunno how many people in Japan rock Rotas. The easiest way to tell would be to see if they're real multipiece wheels, cos I would assume the knockoffs are 1 piece.

Definately SSR SP1's. NOT WORK. Just pull the rim off and check the backside when you get the car.
