I can easily say that there are more Hondas running Eagle rods than any other aftermarket rods. The Crower billet rods are better quality and stronger but probably overkill on most builds.I would put Scat rods in the same level as Eagles. They are in the same price and quality range.
The Eagle rods are good for most builds.

theres a pic floating around from a long time ago, piston was almost completly melted, sleeve toasted, head trashed and the dude pulled the eagle rod out and it was fine. I think its in the FI section. dig it up.

Used eagles for a long time with no issues.
Eagles being crap is just another internet myth started by those who can't put their motors together properly and need a whipping boy.

Plenty.
Whoever is trying to tell you Eagle sucks is either lying or ignorant. Sorry.
Eagle's been around for a loooong time. They have a good rep, both in the import community and the domestic world. They're good people with good parts.

eagle is perfect for any and EVERY all motor setup . when you start getting over 500whp i have heard of eagles snapping . ive been using the same set of eagles for years in 2 different builds and have had no problems.
Are you talking Scat (correct spelling) Chevy rods or Scat offshore Honda rods? The Crower econo, Scat, REV, and Eagle are all offshore rods. Eagle seem to have more consistancy and a better finish.
Been running Eagle H-beam rods on my motor for a while now, ~15k miles, no problems at all.
Eagle's are not the lightest rods available, but for the price, they perform excellent.

rods are for any setup, not just FI. y not pay a little insurance to make sure your oem rod wont go out on u.. especially if its a built motor.
