Haha!

Don't even bother with dry ice, unless you want to ruin something.

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide. It is very cold and would lower intake temps, but what do you think it would do to your A/F ratio when your engine injests carbon dioxide as the dry ice "melts". I put "melts" in quotation marks because it doesn't melt like normal ice does. Dry ice goes from solid straight to gas, normal ice goes solid - liquid - gas.

This fan is SLOW! Use a Vantec Tornado. 88 CFM for an 80mm fan. Less than a turbo sadly.

you want more dense oxygenated air.....not pure carbon dioxide....

and a 4cyl at high rpm's will naturally suction in air at more that double that rate....

so, it will be slowing down the air.

The dry ice method is something I've seen the old schoolers at the track do before runnning. They wrap the intake in something that will allow them to pack dry ice AROUND that paticular part. This brings down the tempature of the metal.Wich in turn cools the air within.
