Default Anyone ever use this spray for their lights before??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

A friend of mine wanted to take the clear on his tC taillights and zap that little clear portion to be amber, however i've never used the amber sprays...just red or smoked.

Anything else product wise would be appreciated..thats all that came up in a quick search

Thanks in advance

I've seen people do it with a $5 can of transparent orange from Wal-Mart. Looks fine just don't go to heavy. They said one coat is fine.

I couldn't tell you because my friend did it to a shield that is inside the tail light (not the outside shield) and you can't see any shine. He had to put them in the oven to the get the most external shield off. If it was my TC, I wouldn't touch it with any paint.

You could put a few light coats and wetsand with some 3000grit very lightly if theres any haze or it if looks uneven aftewards.

Just clean the surface prior to painting with an amonia based cleaner, alot of window cleaners use amonia.

i used the tamaya(sp, you know what im talking about) amber and yellow spray paint to do the fogs and corners on my old del sol, when its dry its a dull finish, when painting with it you also need to use very light layres. I just waxed and buffed them after and they looked fine

you can barley see the fogs but you get the point

I used this stuff on my all clear taillights in 98. Used it to make them look like 99-00 civic SI taillights. It held up until 03 when my civic was stolen.

use rubbing compound to make the lense rough and use krylon stained glass paint. 2 light coats and it'll look like the lense came that way

sorry for the grainy pics, i'm not a photographer

plus that stained glass paint is like 6 bucks at an arts and crafts store
