Ive searched for this topic and came up with one result, that had one reply. So the question is what is the best way to build up oil pressure in new engine before start up other than unhookin injectors and plug wire and turning the engine over? Thanks for the help.

 

ive heard you can unplug the ecu and turn it over? correct me if im wrong

 

why wouldnt u want to do it that way? just curious.

 

Im worried about the pump losing prime and this taking all day.

 

in that case, just unplug the ecu and prime. fuel pump is controlled by the ecu, if ecu is not there, fuel pump wont pump

 

If you have enough assembly lube, I wouldn't worry about it as much,
But just unplug the ecu, crank it for a while, and then start it up.
