Suspension for the girlfriends car...
My girlfriend has a 2002 Civic with Koni yellows and skunk 2 coil over sleeves. It pretty much rides like crap with her 17s on it, and a tad better with her stock 15s.
Looking to get a full coil over set that will allow her to adjust height but still be very street able. she drives 60 miles a day to work, and then 180 miles each way to State College on weekends.
Would prefer something with a completely built coil over that include pillow mounts as her strut bearings are shot, (car pops when she turns the wheel).
We looked at the Function Form full coilover, does anyone know if these are decent quality, or just some ebay no name coilover? http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/...d6853
Thanks!
pic for clicks.

F2 is just another one of those Taiwan coilover kits.
And your intentions are contradictory... pillowballs will make the ride HARDER, but you want SOFTER. If you want softer, go for springs and keep the Konis. No linear rate spring is going to be very "comfy".

Get new springs for the coilovers, this soften it up, yet she will slam it when she wants.
vtecvodooo can help you with finding a good eibach spring that will make the car ride better, plus it wont cost you more than 200 bucks.

I've got F2's, and I wouldn't recommend them, if you think her current ride is a tad rough. They're fairly stiff, which is what I wanted them for.
To soften the ride, get some thicker sidewall tires. Those look like 35-series tires, which ride like crap. Get something in the line of 45-series sidewalls, and you'll notice a huge increase in ride quality. Not to mention you'll get better treadlife out of the taller sidewall.

I did have the Tein's on my 03. I didn't like them a lot. I went with Tanabe DF210's. It's like a 1.8" drop front and rear and I think it is just about as close to a stock ride as you can get.
