Default Help me analyse this timeslip

I tried my allmotor street class Civic for the first time yesterday at a 1/8 mile track. After the 4. run I got a flat so I just barely tried it out. It's a lot faster than my CRX so I hit the rev limiter in 1. gear on every run. Even with granny shifting I pulled out a 7.38 @ 97.34 mph. The tranny is quite tricky since I have had all the gears, syncros etc. through a Shot Peening process. What should this thing run on the 1320 with some better shifting?

Here is video of the best run...

the results are that thing is moving. is this on slicks or DRs? if its on slicks the 60' could be better, mph is flying though.

edit: looks like slicks to me. shoot for low 1.6 60s. i use 8lbs in my tires which seems to work best for me

Yes I'm running 22x9" M&H slicks. I was pretty conservative and tried with 10 psi and the plan was to work my way down to 6-7 psi. Damn one can feel the tq. compared to a 2L B-series. Is the mph good enough for low 11 or high 10's?

i agree with the bigger slicks idea, but what is your car trapping in mph?

the MPH should be good for low 11s. in my 11.62 run i ran 7.37 1/8th at 92mph. i had a mid 1.6 60 if i remember right. probably 1.63 or 1.64.
with a 2.4L id be on 24s for sure.

In 2004 we were running about 7.05 to 7.15 @ 99 to 100 Mph in the 1/8
will get ya 11.1 to 11.3 in the 1/4

should be able to get low 11's high tens with good 60'

Thanks Brad...
I hoped to be in that ballpark before I started the build. Were you also running with around 300 whp at that time?

It was just about right what people told me. It ran 11.35 @ 124.7 last sunday on an unprepped air strip. I hope for some high 1.6X 60 ft on the 22. where the strip will be VHT'ed. I went with some 23x8" M&H since that was what suited my gearing best. I hope the 8" slick will do the trick to get me to 10's
