I have a extra hood for my teg, and i want to paint it with a different color. Please help me with some ideas.

airbrush something dope on it! a dragon, some chinese characters that you don't even know what it says, or something lowrider'ish.....naked chicks holding guns riding a horse or something!!! LOL

seriously, just leave the hood alone and sell it to some one who actually needs it. Your car looks good all color matched as it is.

 

yeah unless you wanna paint the side moldings or at least ANYTHING to match itll just look out of place. id just wait till your teggy gets stolen then at least youll have a hood to start building a new one from scratch with.

I tried for almost 6months already. Ebay, friends, everything. So know i was thinking of something new for my whip.

 

is that a one way street???? or did a street in america favor RHD??

I was thinking black with body color letters, and i really dont have the skill to paint my on roof.

If you can paint the hood which would be great practice, then you should be able to paint the roof. Research, practice, payoff.

your car looks awsome, black wouldnt be that bad i guess. but you could do somthing dope and crazy like airbrush a glimse of you b series showing through, like they do with those photoshop pics.

 

you should paint your hood like a black and then paint the fenders, bumpers, Q panels, roof, sideskirts, doors

Its just an extra hood that i could swith at anytime. I was hoping for some colors that i could match with my paint.

I was trying to have a different look for the summer and the hood is really easy to swith out. And if i want to go to a meet or show i would switch back to factory color. I just like having my cars with a frest look every now n then.

It looks like you have a 94-97 ITR front lip on your 98 front bumper. I would fix that before you worry about your hood.
There was a Civic in the A/C forum awhile back with the hood/trunk covered in zumiez stickers looked kinda cool, might be worth a try

i remember that civic, it was a white one, didn't he crash it or something?

 

Its 98+ replica, i do have a original itr lip but the street in ny r the worst in the country so i swith around for daily use to the replica. If you have a link to that civic that would give me some idea to do my hood. I think my problem is to much spare parts n no one to sell it to.
