Any one know of a good, reputable shop in Canada to do a B18C5 or B18C swap into an EG ( 93 Civic Si hatch)

No one in where I live (Winnipeg) can source out an engine and only one place that I know of have done the swap.

I have time off in the summer so I am willing to drive anywhere to get the job done right (Vancouver, Calgay, Toronto or Montreal).

I have researched the different business' that sell on the net but Sohfast is too expensive( 5500 US for the Type R & 4000 US for the GSR), Hondamotorsonline and jdmhondaparts have got good prices 4800 US and 3300 US respectively but they dont ship to Canada and would be too expensive when duty, taxes, and exchange rates are factored in.

As far as private sellers I just dont feel comfortable sending 3-5 thousand US to someone I have never met.

If you know of place that can get the engines and install please post including phone numbers and websites.

Don't bother with RT they suck(I guess they are good for bolt ons though like matrix springs and ractive pipes)...especially if you are coming down from winnepeg you won't want to waist your time, there is a good shop in montreal called Auto Sin May try them they are expensive but do a good job or I would go up to A&J but RT would be a no no.

Auto Sin May is one of the greatest shop I ever dealt with. I got my swap done there and they did a perfect job. It's a bit more expensive but it's worth every penny.
