im plannin on runnin 2750 watts across 3 amps... I also need a better battery... do i need the alternator specific for my car? what shoud i look for.. i think the one i got now is starting to go and i dont even have my system fully installed (no amps yet)..its funny to hear tho.. when my hazards are on my engine pulses, like some alien engine.. its great.. so where do i look?

The best thing to do is Rewound the one you have. They did it to mine like a year ago when I was into Car Audio and it was $150 dollars to make it put out 200Amps... for the battery get a Optima Yellow Top but I think you're gonna have to modify the thing to mount it cuz is wider then the civic battery......

Rewound is the cheaper way to go, I am running an amptech alternator. You should run 2 batteries and if you do you will also need a battery isolator. Optima yellow tops fit under the hood with a little modification, I know cause i got one under mine
