Building a 94 Coupe, need some help with info on K series engines.
I am planing a rebuild on my coupe when I get back from Iraq and I been reading up on the K series engines on some other honda forums but the more I read, the more I realize how many people are just giving there two sense and dont know what they are talking about. Just to also add, I dont know **** about the K engine. From what I have read I am thinking of starting off with a k24a2 bottom and going with either a k20a2 head or k20z3 (Si)? I have also seen people with some crazy numbers running a k24a1 bottom and a k20 head.
My plan is to stay all motor, and to begin with, stay stock internals. I am set on the k24 because of the added torque. Is it really worth it to put a k20 head on? I know it flows better and later on down the road I will start to build it up. Also with the k24 block, should I go with the TSX? Or Accord/CRV, besides the internals are they the same block?
I have searched this, and I know someone probably explained this and I just couldn't find it. I probably just suck at the internet...
Any help/info would be great, thanks!
