Default got simple question ..... bout ctr piston in b18b

do i need anything special to make it work. i mean im gonna use the stock ls rods... is there any issues with clearance im using stock head....please need some advice.

just type it in didnt give me any information, has any one did in in a non vtec head wats the clearance issue?

that compression might be a little high for an ls head, but i dunno, my buddy had them in his ls vtec and it blew up after 20k

Well that is an error in the build, not a problem with compression. A lot of people have used them with success. Yes the compression is high, but as long as you check clearances and clay the motor for piston the valve clearance. You should be okay, also a good tune will be needed aswell as the highest octane pumpgas in your area 93 or 94.
