Default K20a2 Swap

Is it possible to swap out a stock D17 for a K20a2...in an automatic transmission 02 civic lx?

anythings possible with hondas.....car sin generall.....i dont see why you couldn't do that.....better to have a manual car anyways.....well, if you want to make drivin a bit more fun..... so yes.....and if you look at the top of the screen there a search button.......press it select our forum and type in k20a2 alot should pop up.......

search, its been done sooo many times.

Well probably ~100 EM/ES 's have K's ? I'd say so

and i'd say probably only a handful ~5 have k24/k20's

and even than only several ~3-5 have K and 5 lug rsx-s brake setup

theres alot of k swapped em out there. I thought I was the only one here in dallas until I saw another guys car ahahah

Nah, but the fastest active EM2 guy lives in Texas (active as in not counting icebergslims car since he dont own it anymore)

but i can only really guestimate that ~100 are 7thgens are K'ed...

hold on a minute i thought if your gonna do a k swap u need manual tran, ull need to do the clutch set up on it thats y

Yes it is possible. AT to MT with swap.

have to get a few parts for the transmission swap (MT Pedals clutch components etc)

search and u can find all of this...hasport's original kswapped ES was an AT car.

I would just sell the 02' you have, buy an older 96-99 civic 5spd, then do the swap you'd save money and if you got a 4 door, it would be a sick sleeper hell yea

interior looks the same as a stock 5spd 7thgen civic except i'm using an rsx shift ****.
