i have a b16 in my 91 integra with the b16 pr3 ecu and it won't rev past 7500 what could cause this any help would be great thanks.

did it ever rev higher than that? Is this a new problem, or has it always been this way?

 

it has always done this since its been in the car

 

try another ecu

it happened to a friends car, it wouldn't rev past 6k

we put another ecu and it worked

 

try a new ecu... is the vtec kicking in ?

 

get a chipped p28

 

Do you have the actual mods to rev it past 7500? Question is, do you need to?

 

you probably have a auto ecu

 

you might have a ls trans

 

that doesn't have anything to do with not being able to rev past 7500. like everyone said. ECU related most likely.

like the man said you get the P28 and you'll be ok i have a 95 B16A3 and a p28 and it goes to 8500 or so
