Default jdm b16 in 91 teg won't rev past 7500

i have a b16 in my 91 integra with the b16 pr3 ecu and it won't rev past 7500 what could cause this any help would be great thanks.

did it ever rev higher than that? Is this a new problem, or has it always been this way?

try another ecu

it happened to a friends car, it wouldn't rev past 6k

we put another ecu and it worked

try a new ecu... is the vtec kicking in ?

that doesn't have anything to do with not being able to rev past 7500. like everyone said. ECU related most likely.

like the man said you get the P28 and you'll be ok i have a 95 B16A3 and a p28 and it goes to 8500 or so
