91 teg how good are tokico blues
I need to get new struts and the tokico blues are looking like the best option since they are 150 cheaper for the set than the illuminas. does anybody ride these? it's for a daily driver for my wife it currently has skunk2 coilovers
They are very similar to stock shocks... in fact the Blues are ment as a stock replacement. They are not very good on cars that run hefty spring rates, or are lowered much.

Just buy the suspension kit I got mine off of ebay for $300 shipped and that was tokico blues w/ matched tokico springs. Or you could always go to autozone or one of those places and buy oem replacements but if I remember right the blues were about the same price. But yeah you don't want to buy them if you have more than a 1.5" drop on your car.

That was a useless post and very uninformative
They do not suck as previously stated.
They work great for specific applications. If your car is not lowered or lowered no more than usually 1.5 inches then they normally work great. The blues can only handle usually at most a 1.5 inch drop. If it is lowered than more than 1.5 inches then they normally bottom out and hit the bump stops, thus making it a very bouncy and uncomfortable ride. So that is probably why the previous poster said he thinks the "suck" is because he has them way to low for what they are designed for.
It seems like you want to go pretty low, and in that case I would not really recommend them to you as they will not last long and it will become bouncy. But if you raise the car up to about 1-1.5 in drop then it will not be to bad and the ride will be nice.
