I'm not a civic person, and I'm going to pick one up that needs a little work. The seller says he got a code for a TPS, replaced it, replaced the ECU and still didn't get it to start. Then he got the codes for Barometric Sensor and Atmosphere sensors and the car still won't start. What am i looking at to get it to start?

i believe that has to do with the ecu

 

i see. Should I have the seller try the old ECU and see what happens?

 

im really curious cus i really need to figure out if its worth it for me.

so tech a new ECU should fix this

would those two things cause the car not to start? The cars an hour away so i don't want to get there and not be able to drive it away. so how would i disable it and make sure i can get it to start

what ecu or ecu's can i use in the car? Its a 93 CX with a d15b. i just need to get it started so i can move it off the lot.
