I have a '99 Accord EX 5-speed. I noticed that the stock intake set-up intakes warmed air from under the hood in my car. I was going to do a drop in K&N but would a intake set-up be a better choice. I just don't want a loud sucking sound when I am driving on long highway drives. Is there a inexspensive cold air set-up that will not be to load in increase MPG and perfomance.

 

remove resonator + drop in k&n = most of the performance of a cold air intake, very cheap, not very loud

since then i've tried a cold air setup and a short ram setup, and both were MUCH louder than the DIY version.
