Default 92-96 Honda Prelude H22A Engine Motor Auto Transmission on a EG?

i have a 93 honda civic hatchback with auto trans, im planning on swapping with a 92-96 prelude h22a motor engine with auto trans, will it work with my eg? give me ideas tips etc. thanks!

and how much will it help?

do u have a h22 trans in ur eg if u dont then no way in hell it will work

ever heard of those adaptor plates that you can get? like the h2b and there is even some f/h2d. some guy on this site was doing an f20b swap with a d series transmission.

An H series swap into an EG civic is FAR from a bolt in swap. But yes, if you are doing a H swap into this car, why not change it to a 5 speed. It is a cable shifter, that can be a pain to put in, but if you are going to do a swap this involved, why not just change it...

P.S. sorry about the first answer..I didn;t catch on to that you a doing/have done a H SWAP...I just thought you wanted to know if you could use a H trans in a stock motor civic...

If you go through the hassle of putting in an H series, you should also go through the hassle of converting to manual.

Auto would be a disappointment.

theres some1 doing an auto k20a3 swap in a Fit right now just cuz he preffered to have auto..
