b20 with b16 tranny?
Does anyone know how a 2gen with a b20 and b16 tranny will run, or would be better to do a b20 with a ls tranny, or a ls with a b16 tranny? these are the choices i have for a DA that im fixin to sell back.
i had a b20z2 ith a b16a2 tranny and it got up there pretty quick with a chipped p72... but it got up there a lil too fast i think... the rpms. but i was beating stock ls's all day long..... get the ls tranny.

LOL ur an iddiot.. b20 doesnt have high rpm power, they make all their power downlow in the powerband.

Exactly my my B20 with a LS tranny does ok. I still belive a GSR tranny would be the best though. If your going to boost you definatly need to keep the LS tranny

uh and Why do we need to keep the ls tranny for boost?... there's terrible information in this thread lol. gsr tranny will be fine for the b20 but anything with shorter gears than that and you're out of the power band

Hey guess what, we're talking about Honda motors. Maybe you're lost?
If not, you really need to gtfo, cause ANY b-series motor, will do better with a b16/gsr/type-r over an ls trans.

I have a b20 mated to my gsr tranny. Ive never heard anyone say they would rather have an ls tranny that a vtec one.
Sorry, not tryin' to thread jack and YES i searched... but does an LS intake fit on a b20 integra? Or do i need a custom one?

I really don't even feel like giving a reply to this ..
But, it's nice to see you can atleast separate your words
you might never of said the ls trans was any good, but you act like the others aren't worth anything,
b20 or w/e the fuck you wanna pick, they will not do better staying down Low in the rpms
Even people with H-series don't even want to stick with their original trans,
which have even longer gears then the ls .. so now, if the H has even more torque,
then why the hell would they have an h2b kit JUST to get better gearing with trans such as the gsr, or type-r ??
It's a Honda, it's MEANT to rev, it's not some ******* domestic muscle,
you won't ever want long *** gears for anything on a honda..
