Default Restoring a 92-95 hatch, What OEM parts should/would you replace??

I am doing a complete rebuild for my 95 Vx. Peep the link in the sig for the build thread. Anyhow, I am gathering all the OEM parts I need in hopes to order everything at one time.

What are some common parts you should consider replacing on our old Civic's?

Here is the list I have put together so far:
--Front bumper
--Rear bumper
--hood
--driver fender
--passenger fender
--ALL new crossmember bolts (10)
--Driver side tie rod end
--Passenger side tie rod end
--New bushings in the rear trailing arms (not sure if I am going OEM)

Hey Jon. Do the bumpers and fenders really need to be replaced? Are the originals in bad shape? I would replace things like the fender liners and door moldings (the ones at the bottom of the windows) if I were doing a total restore. Those pieces always are faded, broken and sagging and just plain look like **** on older cars. I'm planning on some new moldings for my doors in the near future and also am going to raise the front end a bit if I have to and try to get fender liners to fit. My engine bay is so filthy right now, it looks nothing like it use to anymore.

Anyway, I would be more concerned with other some parts the will make the biggest difference in the end. It is all the little things and attention to detail that will make it stand out and look great. But what am I telling this to you for, you are the one showing all of us how to do it clean and do it right.

I'd probably replace all of the suspension bushings with energy suspension bushings. You can get a kit that includes all of the bushings

sorry to get off topic, but how bad is your front bumper? i'll take the old one off your hands when you replace it, if it's not terrible. as long as its stock

If there are no tears or huge cracks in the bumpers, just strip them and refinish them. If you really need to replace your fenders and hood, I would suggest OEM replacement parts for easy fit, but if that's too costly go A/M. A/M can be a pain in the *** when it come to panel gaps and alignment, but you just gotta be patient.

The bumper has a crack toward the bottom where the lip is. I'm probably going to have the current fenders, bumpers, and hood fixed / restored as well. I just want new OEM parts since I am doing a complete rebuild. Yes, the parts will be OEM because I can't deal with fitment problems. And not selling any of the parts, sorry

Thanks guys for the input
