fill the res. open the nut and let it gravity bleed for a bit..close off nut..
1.pump clutch 2/3 times and hold the last time all the way down.. 2.open nut and let air out.. 3.close off nut.. 4.release clutch 5.repeat steps 1-4 until clutch has desired pressure
[MAKE SURE THE RES HAS FLUID IN IT AT ALL TIMES]
the same thing happened to me one night when i was drunk coming back from a party [not a smart thing to do
].. i knew what the problem was but i couldnt do anything about it.. i was alone and didnt have anyone to help me bleed my shyt at 3am so i just drove home in second..

You do not have to hold the clutch pedal in when bleeding like you do on brakes. You can easily bleed the clutch yourself by putting a clear tube into some brake fluid over the bleed screw on the slave cylinder, open the bleed screw, then pump the pedal several times. When the bleeder screw is open, I can easily pump the pedal with my hand, so I don't have to sit in the car and pump with my foot. For me, pumping about 10 times uses most of the fluid in the reservoir, so I just pump 10 times, add fluid, pump 10 times, see if there's any more air bubbles in the tube, and keep repeating until no more air is present in the clear tube.
This is also how to flush the clutch fluid, which should also be done periodically (like once a year).

could be your throw out bearing or your pressure plate. a friend of mine was doing the same as yours, so when we took the tranny off, we saw that two of the teeths or watever they're called broked. we replaced the clutch and pressure plate and everything was running okay after that.
