Default Proper offset for Accord

Hey I have a question.

I recently purchased rims with a +38 offset (MB Motoring Drifter). Is that a too big of an offset? Any effects I should watch out for? I have a Honda Accord LX 2005. Should I lose sleep over this?

Thanks In Advance

What size rim? (Need to know diameter + width + offset to know if a rim will fit.) What size tire do you plan on running? Are you lowered or do you plan to lower your car?

6X7 5-100/114 38SM this rim (MB Motoring Drifter)
215/55R-16 93W BSW these tires (Kumho ASX)

I do not plan on lowering the car. I just wanted to upgrade my stock steel wheels.

38 should be FINE. I am personally running 18x8 et29 front, 18x9 et36 rear. no rubbing.

Theoretically, pushing the rim further out (lower offset) puts more strain on the joints, bearings, and so on. Will it make a noticeable difference? Probably not. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yep, theroitically it should add some wear. I ran 7.5" wide, et37 wheels for over a year with out any wear issues.
