Default Type R pistons????

If I change my GSR pistons to Type R pistons will it pass smog??? I live in California... Damn IT!!!

Most likely it will pass, unless you tune the ECU rich to compensate for the compression gain. The GSR head has a smaller combustion chamber than the PR3 head (ITR and B16). Run this calculator:
