Why are you shifting when the car isn't on? It's more fun when it's on...

No it doesn't do anything. Unless you're tugging incredibly hard on the shifter, then I can possible foresee problems with maybe the shifter fork.

 

Nope, not doing diddly to the trans. Nothings moving cept the shift fork.
