b18b with b16 tranny..will it affect smog? considering it having shorter gears then the stock ls tranny. can i bar the car with a different tranny?

 

i think a tranny doesnt have to do wit smog..you should b good wit it........

In all honestly, I really dont see any reason for this to interfere with passing smog. Im not 100% certain on this though....

I know they look for aftermarket parts (turbos, intakes, exhausts, etc) However, I dont think they will be able to notice the difference with a B16 tranny.

No, a transmission does not affect smog, as smog pertains to the combustion of the engine.
