If you pickup the cable transmission, you can buy the cable-to-hydro kit and use it to install the transmission and get it working fine

"Downgrate"????? I think you meant "downgrade", and it is hardly a downgrade. There are tons of reasons to go with one over the other depending on setup. Honda made the choice to go to hydro operated clutches to refine the "feel" of the clutch to appeal to the pansy *** consumers that can't handle the harsh feel that a cable clutch "can" give if you don't know how to drive it. There is no mechanical advatage of a hydro clutch over a cable clutch.

grump - The trans will bolt right up no problem. Where you may have a problem is if it is from a 90-91 Integra. The trans that came in the 90-91 had a smaller shaft with a different spline count than the 92-01 trans. All clutch disks and PP are interchangeable between a 92-01 trans, but not the 90-91. So if you were planning on re-using you clutch you wouldn't be able to. Look to see if the trans code is a YS1. ALL 92-93 Integras with the cable clutch have a YS1 trans.

Also, yes you can swap all the internals from a 94-01 trans into a 92-93 trans case. Now I don't know if you can just swap individual parts, but the chances are the trans you are looking at will have a grind anyway, so it is a toss up.

^ couldn't have said it any better

that's the main reason i switched mine out, and got the ys1... and the fact that it was going out.
