Bondo Question
I just bought a Denji Projectors for the 92-95 Civic similar to the one shown below. I do not like the third small city light in the corner of the projectors. I want to cover it up and spray the housing black. I was thinking Bondo to cover the hole up but Im afraid that the bondo might crack due to the heat and movement. Anyone suggestion any other material to cover up the third hole without worrying that it might crack overtime.
i think if the whole city light housing part was completely removed and it was bondo'd up nice and tight it should be aight, plus it would only be exposed to heat when you have your high beams on most likely, your low beams are a good 4 inches away from the spot
ninja edit: ps, im no bondo expert, so dont depend on that

Fiberglass if anything. Bondo is not made to fill holes. Fiber strand/kitty hair is for holes. Bondo is kind of like icing on the cake. Just a thin layer to smooth and level everything out.
so how do i add fiberglass to a hole that is 1.5 inch deep? KittyHair will not crack regardless of depth? Is it reinforced?
i used bondo in the past but not as deep as the hole in the housing.

depends how well is the prep work, if you lay one layer of fiberglass and a can of bondo why not? the bondo will shrink over time, if you pay alot of those then it will make the changes more dramatic.
you need to use bondo to fill it up ulitmately, the base you can do fiber glass or just weld plastic(abs, etc) for support.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had a paint/body forum to ask questions like this? The professionals would hang out there and give sound advise.

You would be suprised how many people try to do it themselves. I do all of my own and it is very rewarding when it is all said and done
