Default JayDiem_k20_Dc5's 2002 NHBP got a Facelift and new shoes

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a while. I turned into a CRSX junkie. So I'm here on H-T postin up some pics of my progress since I bought my car in July of last year. So far I have a bone stock engine (for now) and I've been working on a few cosmetics. Seen as I'm a college student, I can't go balla status on some things

Here's what I've got so far:

-2005-2006 Front end conversion with Yellow hi beam bulbs for that "jdm" (LOL) look

-Skunk2 Lowering springs

-Drilled/Slotted rotors. Mine were warped as expletive, thanks to the dealership not installing new rotors and pads like they said they would

-Decal Girl red-out turn signals

-My beloved i-VTEC DOHC decals. - I like em-expletive the haters. lol

- Work Meister S1-2P wrapped in Kumho 711

-Fogs waiting to be installed with yellow laminex

lmk if it's a good start. I'm saving up for my mugen Front/Rear lips and 05-06 Type S side skirts. After that, it's Injen CAI with bypass valve, OBX race header( I've heard great things about the Dc5 OBX race header and I used to have one for my civic and for OBX, it was a hell of a header and the price was amazing and I'm going to do a Hi-Flow cat most likely from Magnaflow and the finish that off, Apex-i WS2 with just a Hondata Reflash, unless I get a set of cams or something before a tune. We'll see. I gotta do my research on HP/TQ gains on cams for a k20a3 and see if it's going to be worth doing a whole new valvetrain or what.

so I took some pics in and around UMass with my girlfriends Canon powershot SD1000. Some pics are a little grainey which I have no idea why. I think I had it on a different setting. Well anyways, here are some pics of my whip until I get my Nikon d40 Sorry for the dark pics too. The front end conversion has no justice in these pics. I gotta get my new camera

or

just a few that does my front end some justice that I found

Pictures are a bit dark. I would also block out your license plate. Other than that, car looks good.

yea, idk why they came out soo dark and gloomey. Must be the camera setting I used on her Canon.

Not worried about the license plate thingy. Anyone can get my plate anyday of the week if they wanted to in plain day-light.

thanks for lookin and the props

I like the older front ends SOOOO much better, with the JDM headlights... soooo aggressive.

I've seen worse pics. I'm guessing you failed to read the begining

no, the pics are killing the wheels. The wheels look very good actually. The pics do no justice for how the car looks. You guys gotta learn how to read

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by bulletspastsunset &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i would give it a sideways thumb</TD></TR></TABLE>

exactly. I don't need to spend $xxxx.xx on top name wheels. As long as I want to achieve my goal for looks that's all that should matter. You don't always need VOLK or Mugen wheels

like these for example

Mugen M7

One of the absolute UGLIEST wheels ever and people spend $2xxx.xx on up for these ugly *** wheels for the NAME and cuz they want JDM and whatnot. And people are like ahh man, sweet *** wheels. blah blah blah. Ugly ****** *** wheels if you ask me. But I'm sure if I had these on my Dc5 people would have different stand point of my car, even if they were ugly as ****. But god forbid if I don't have Brand name wheels, it's the end of the world. expletive that ****. I'm not spendin $2,000 on some ugly *** wheels.

so I thank you for your support man
