IMO the SRD's and Ergos, or even Brix for that matter, are too similar to justify getting rid of one for the other. I could understand making the move if you were going for a full bucket like a Zeta III or SPG, which would be worth it for for the extra support they offer.

Majority of the major brand reclining seats out there offer similar support, but it all depends on what your frame fits in better. If you don't feel like you fit in the SRD's well, than try something else. Just try not to look at it as one seat being better than the other.

Personally, I have the USDM Recaro SRDII's. I went this route because I'm 5"10, 145lbs and the seat fits me like a glove. As a sidenote, I chose the USDM version of the SRD over the JDM because I found that Alcantra is a royal pain in the *** to maintain. Those were my only deciding factors.

most of the fakes ones have the alcantara material. don't let the small "bride" tag or the bride logo on the seat back adjuster fool you.

If you're looking for the top of the line cf reclinables, then definitely choose BRIDE:

GIAS or STRADIA

i think you should get whatever YOU like and whichever feels more comfortable to you. if I say you should get the Recaro baby seat, are you going to get it? No, so try it out for yourself and get whichever appeals to you in appearance, comfort and budget. people on here are not going to like you less or more because of which brand of seat you have.

Recaro is OE for the R. So even US market seats look nice in there. But it really comes down what you need.

that goes double here....

I find it a wee bit silly to ask for an opinion when a seat is such a comfort/personal item. For me it kinda borders along what kinda jeans do you guys like... or what kind of underwear you like to wear?

Hey...same idea right? Whatever fits your *** best. If it happens to look good on you (in the car) then that's a bonus.
