Some *** hole cut me off on Sunrire Highway just before Centre Road. He ran the on-ramp stop signs and vered into the middle lane going to the far left lane nailing the brakes barely an inch infront of my car. Police reports say I rear ended him speeding, but I got pictures to prove it's not so. Police reports suck these days especially in Nassau County when they are 2 sentences long. Oh and when you are the minority they don't even care to see if you are hurt. I don't know what will happen as of yet but I gave my insurance good solid evidence like pictures of the area and crash scene me and my brother took that day. The funny thing is that the bastard could get out of the car and argue with me but soon as I said "insurance" and "police" he had neck pains and had to be carried away in a stretcher. Hopefully everything goes the rightway and I can either get my car fixed or some money that I can put towards a new one, any suggestions? Man my neck is killin me from the airbags, those things hit hard!!!

damn kid, that just sucks. That happened to me 3 times, the third one I was at CERO liability, b/c I was at a red light, and some stupid driver in a benz hit me, but the cops gave me a hard time anyways, if it wasnt for the actually driver telling the cops what happened, they would have found a way to blame it on me, (PIGS!). Same thing happen to me but its going to be a very hard win. Some guy cut me off and slam on the brakes. CHP was being total dick and he's like whatever you say it doesn't matter, like some straight up ***** because of our cars. Just make sure you go to a lawyer you trust.

 

sorry to hear, that really sucks. as said before, it will be hard to prove. it is always hard to prove it isnt your fault when you rear-end someone. the cops almost always assume you are at fault when you hit someone from behind.

anyway glad to hear you are still ok, hope it gets figured out and you are held not liable. hope you can part that out and get some money back for your trouble.
