courner balencing results
well, even though we got another 2 inches of snow today, I had free time and scheduled time in the lab to install my suspension. Rather than guessing at ride height and pre-load this time however, I set my car up on some scales and tried my first attempt at courner balencing a car. At any rate, heres where I ended up
865 817
527 481
some conclusive comparisons
Front 62.5% Rear 37.5%
Left 51.7% Right 48.3%
and most importantly
LF and RR 50.0%
LR and RF 50.0%
I did the measurements with half tank of gas, no spare tire, and myself in the drivers seat, just as the car will be while autocrossing.
So how did I do? If any of the tutorials I read were correct I did exactly what I was supposed to do, make the crossweights withing a tenth of a percent of each other, actually 2 lbs, which is 159 less than I had last year, since I had no idea what I was doing...
questions and comments please
