Default honda del sol (under construction)

I have started my del sol project, I want to do the swap myself and with a friend. I know the best way and easy way to go is with the b16A2, but is there anyone out there that knows where I can get the swap for less then 2 grand shipped to me in Kingman, Arizona??? whats better buying piece by piece or buying the whole swap?

why would a b16 be easier that a b18c5 or a b20?
i would get a b20 engine with a b16 tranny
that would be a good start

so you would use a b20 motor and a b16 motor? The reason why I think to use a B16 is cause it pushes out 170 and the b20 pushes 126hp? would the swap be easy? what wire harness would I use and would it be as easy to install? I have a 1994 honda del sol that am putting this into also! I can buy the motor for 549.99 let me know what you think! thanks

b20 motor and b16 tranny
the b20 has more torque than the b16
and with a simple piston and head swap you can have gobs of power

well am going to buy that b20 motor sometime next month, while I have the motor out off my del sol. What mods should I do to the block? B20 is non-vtech right? if so , should I convert this block to v-vtech? Am going to turbo this car in the future as well! Thanks alot!

I did a b16a1 with ys1lsd conversion in my del sol that dynoed 161 whp. It ran a 15.1 best time. If i were you i would go with something with more torque than a b16a.

if your planing on going turbo why are you posting this in the all motor forum? <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vaughn83 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">wB20 is non-vtech right? </TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah in fact the b16 is also "non vtech"

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vaughn83 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> , should I convert this block to v-vtech?</TD></TR></TABLE>

you need to do a search on "ls vtec"
