Girlfriend drives a 2002 Civic Ex and she has these lights on. Im not familiar with the newer models of Civics so I was thinking that someone would probably have a better answer to why they are on. Im sure if you guys had some insight on it I would be able to fix the problem, just not use to working with the newer cars.

This has been covered before. You can reset the SRS system, which could clear up that light. But, if she hasn't had her regular maintenance done, I'd have a dealership look at it.

 

Sorry I should have searched cause the Maint Req'd light is all over the place. But I did not find anything regarding the SRS light, of which I dont know how to reset.

 

SRS could be a faulty seat belt latch, in which case Honda will replace it for free. Which reminds me, they ordered me a new seat belt latch and they haven't called to schedule the installation.

The best thing to do is take the car to Honda and have them look at it.

 

umm i highly suggest u take it to the dealership asap cuz my friends light was on b4 and he got in an accident and his airbags didnt deploy and he got injured pretty badly

 

hey guys just recently when i turn the key to th II position or start it my Maint Req'd light blinks 10 times then goes off any1 no what the problem could be???

you need to reset it probably
