I was running down the highway headed to class from my parents house 35 miles from where i live when i already hae my cruise set two miles from the folks house the car's check engine light kicks on and rpm's drop completely so i start pulling over at the mile line when it dies completly. I've tried replacing many things on the car to fix it since all it will to do is turn over and nothing more. I am open for suggestions from anybody with this kinda previous problem. O yes it is a 1990 prelude si with 2.0 dohc Thanks

 

have you check the dizzy or ignition coil? what's the code?
