I just got a used compressor pump from work for free. It needs a valve kit but thats only like $50 so no big deal. It's an IMC T29. it's an older model but as best as I can tell, it runs on a 3 to 5 HP motor. I've got a cheap Campbel Hausfield air compressor that claims to have a 5 hp peak motor on it. If I try to run the t29 off of the CH motor am I just asking for trouble? or does it have a chance of working. I don't want to burn out the motor, because I have a working compressor and I can't really afford to buy a $200+ motor if it burns out.
