hey i was just wondering how hard is it to change a valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket and how long will it take. Also while i was changing my spark plugs over the weekend when took out the spark plug cover there was oil on it. What you think the problem is? thanks in advanced.

 

Helps to know what year. Valve cover gasket is really easy. 15 minutes tops. Make sure to not over torque it. New gasket comes with O-rings for spark plug holes. That is where your oil is coming from. Oil pan is a little harder, but not bad. Torque bolts in order, and very important to not over torque it. can squish gasket, and it will leak very bad.
