I just recently replaced my starter in my delsol and the first day I get to really drive my car, the starter goes again.(after 18 or so starts) Now I haven't gotten to take out the starter and test it to see if it blew but, I have a feeling it is. Does anyone have a clue what would blow a starter quickly??? I'm thinking a wiring issue but I"m only a newbie to cars..

where did u get the new starter from, it could of been fucked up to begin with

I got it from a small parts shop in queens. (they were the only ones who had the starter in stock at the time) I took it back and got a replacement but haven't installed it yet.

 

first off are you sure it's the starter?" do you have 12v to the starter? ground?, 12v from the clutch safety switch?

 

Ok at first it was the starter, 2nd time It was the relay (apparently it wasn't fully inserted.) Now it's stopped starting up a third time!!!!! I think it's cursed.

 

want a fresh starter? \/\/\/
