Hey yall, this might sound stupid, but, i bought a del sol with a blown motor and the guy told me it doesnt have power steering, now i dont know if that means it was removed or it just isnt equiped with it period. Now if it was removed, the i guess its as simple as buying the stuff and reinstalling it. If it wasnt equiped with it period, could somebody let me know how hard it would be and what is needed to get it installed??

just deal with it not having power steering, it's not a Mack Truck, it's a Del Sol.

 

lol, touche, but does anybody else have anything to say on it??? BTW it wil be getting a d16z6 swap soon as im finished with th turbo build up, ect.. if that helps anything

 

you just need a complete power steering setup form another civic, i am sure you can find one cause everyone is wanting to take theres off, all you need is the hoses, pump, bracket and rack if yours doesnt accept them i might have everything you need for it

 

I know the del sol s doesnt come factory with power streering. I dont THINK any of the s models do either.

 

I ment to say the 93 del sol s does not come with it

 

S models with slushboxes have power steering, 5-speeds, do not.

 

If your car doesnt have power steering then youll need the subframe of a powersteering car. Thats what I did. Right here
