just wondering if the rear bumper cover of a 96-98 civic si is identical to my 00 si as far as i knwo there the same only front end and tails are different to the best of my knowledge any help will be apreciated!

Rear bumpers are different between 96-98 and 99-00. 99-00's have a built-in "lip".

 

Damn the misinformation!!! No they are not exactly the same, and they did not make a 96-98 civic si!!!

 

I think op lives in Canada. EX=SI

 

Nova Scotia = Canada = SI = USDM EX

 

so what your saying is. i can get on ebay, buy a brand new 99-00 style bumper for like $100 and it is the same as my 96 but has a built in lip...

i think ill take one.

The bumpers look different but any rear bumper from a coupe will fit between 96-00!
